If you're reading this right now, you're probably an espresso lover...AWESOME! WE ARE TOO! Back in the day when we owned coffee shops in Nashville, we decided to take things to the next level by roasting our own coffee. One of the reasons we embarked on this adventure was to supply our regulars with even better espresso drinks than they were already getting. So, our first order of business was to synthesize an espresso blend that knocked people's socks off. (SPOILER ALERT: We did it! ) As we began to introduce our house-roasted coffees into the daily rotation, we made it a point not to tell the customers that we had started roasting our own beans. We wanted to see if they noticed a difference in their daily brew without any bias. Sure enough, we immediately began receiving compliments like "Wow, I usually love your coffee, but today, it's just FANTASTIC!" This was a huge boost of confidence to us and gave us even more motivation to perfect our roasting craft. Sixteen years later, and the same phenomenal espresso is still kickin'.
